Our dried vegetable products can be produced to specific customer requirements, in a wide range of different cut-sizes to meet the needs of the industry. Large inventories of our popular items are available for prompt shipment from Mahuva warehouses, owing to its proximity to Kandla and Pipavav port, ensures on-time delivery of our products. We are exporting our products to Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, Canada, USA, South Africa and other European countries. Our company manufactures 1200 MT per annum of dehydrated onions.
Product Range
Vegetables are seasonal and perishable. Dehydration is one of the methods to preserve them in a dry form and thus, making it available throughout the year in hygienic conditions at reasonable cost. Our quality professionals remain assured to procure high quality raw products, most of which is grown in our farms. Raw vegetables are first sorted and cleaned, then steam peeled to remove the skin prior to cutting/slicing. The product is carefully blanched and air-dried to assure quality texture and taste. The finished products are screened for size, color sorted, passed over magnets and through metal detectors prior to packaging into bags or boxes. With our in-house laboratory testing, products are micro-biologically tested and graded according to the international standards and industry requirements.
Infrastructure
Chhatariya Veg Expo Pvt. Ltd. is equipped with advanced technology for dehydration of vegetables. The production process which is at par with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and also approved by FPO, mainly consists of grading/sorting of vegetable, washing, peeling/trimming, size reduction, blanching, chemical treatment and drying and packing in suitable containers. The professional staff monitors pesticide applications by testing for pesticide residuals in the raw product to meet our strict requirements.
